My Week In A Glance~4

Well hello everyone! Hope you are doing as amazing as I am!😉❤

A lot of things happened this weekend that I wanted to share with you guys!

The first thing I wanted to share with you guys is about my baby sister. Y’all, she just turned one! Already!! I can’t remember what she looked like as a tiny little Lima bean!😭😭

She has a wild crop of hair on her head and she is so cute!!!❤😍 She has just learned to walk and is now SUPER mobile! Nooooooo…..😥

So, I had another catering job with my mom. Two actually and they were both weddings. I helped serve and it was a lot of fun! I really enjoy doing it and I just remind myself that if I mess up I never have to see them again.😂

One of the weddings were at a bar and the place smelled like cigars but it was a nice wedding.🚬👎 The other wedding was absolutely gorgeous and fairy lights were set up EVERYWHERE!!!! I really wish I had pictures!😝

We went camping but sadly it was raining the whole time. But we did fit in a two mile walk at the end so that was nice.🙂

School is going really good!👍 Volley ball tryouts just flew by and I was already on the team so I was again this year. I am the official setter now when last year I was just setter-in-training.🙌🏐 For once I actually feel like I belong on the team. I have become more social and interactive with all of my teammates and I don’t feel ashamed or embarrassed when I make a mistake.

Last year I was always comparing myself to the older girls and how much better they were than me. But now I realized that it was all in my head and with time and practice I would reach the bar. I sound like my mom.😂 But if I confess, before school started I was absolutely dreading volleyball. I was afraid I would go out on the court and mess up for all the world to see. And now I have had a major attitude adjustment and I really secretly hope I get chosen for captain.😜

Ok, everyone, I have finally found a REALLY AMAZING movie on Netflix! Warning: it does have one cuss word near the end. I was hesitant to even recommend it on here but I felt like this was really important to me. The movie is called dumplin‘. It is truly an amazing movie and here is why.

About: A plus-size, teenage daughter of a former beauty queen signs up for her mum’s pageant as a protest that escalates when other contestants follow in her footsteps, revolutionizing the pageant and their small Texas town.

This movie really changed the way I look at myself. It showed me that I will be loved no matter what size I am and that I should love myself no matter what. Willow Dean, the main character who is so amazing, is a soft sided person who loved herself despite what her body looked like and she rocked!🤘
